Our History
Established on April 25, 1984, by our Founder Chairman, Mr. Muhammad Aly Rangoonwala, the World Memon Foundation Community Centre Trust has been a beacon of empowerment for women since its inception. The trust was made possible through the generous support of the Bawany family, in collaboration with the Pakistan Memon Education & Welfare Society.
The Centre was officially inaugurated by the Governor of Sindh, Mr. Mahmood A. Haroon, on February 29, 1992, and has been operational since then. We proudly offer a variety of vocational courses, health and fitness programs, and beauty salon services, all designed to create a nurturing, secure, and peaceful environment for women.
Our doors are open to all women, regardless of caste, creed, color, or nationality. The construction of our vocational training Centre was significantly supported by Trustee Mr. Ali Muhammad Tabba, and the ongoing success of our Centre is a testament to the active involvement of the Adamjee, Bawany, Haji Hasham, Rangoonwala, and Tabba families.
At the World Memon Foundation Community Centre, we are dedicated to developing confident, skilled, and empowered women who can drive positive change in society and contribute to a brighter future. Join us in our mission to uplift and inspire women from all walks of life.
